Gingham Butterfly Gala Treat Holder

Today I had fun making these adorable little dove chocolate treat holders. I saw a similar little milk carton treat holder by Julie D. (the Paper Pixie), I just changed it a little, these could be adapted for cute co-worker treats, party/wedding/baby shower table favors etc but I'm making them for a meeting tomorrow to give to everyone. I am just in love with this soft pastel Gingham Gala DSP and the Butterfly Gala Bundle. This bundle will be available to order January 3, 2019  -  June 3, 2019 in the new Occasions Catalog.

Paper Pumpkin Day by Day 12/2018 Alternates

This months Paper Pumpkin Kit was an 18 month calendar with a gift box and tags. 

I scanned and printed extras. I made one of those extras with a pretty box as a hostess gift for a party on Saturday but I did not do a video. (The blog post was December 21, 2018 if you would like to check that one out too). 

I cut the calendars down to 3-1/4" wide and added a strip of gold to the bottom point, Stamped the stickers with different stamps from the kit and sponged in the color on the calender, then I cut each of the four colors Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Gray Granite and Grapefruit Grove Cardstock to 3-1/2" X 5" to put as a backing.

 I cut the butterflies from the Botanical Butterfly DSP which is a free item you can choose from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog from January 3, 2019 - March 31, 2019. Finished off with clear wink of Stella on the butterflies and placed on my Dollar Tree Easel Stand.

I forgot to show on the video that I had made a couple of cards so I will post the photo's here of those and if you have any questions on any of the products used you can ask me.

Same basic design and I took the idea from the Christmas Kit "Timeless Tidings" in the Holiday Catalog where one of the cards had the strip of gold on the bottom of the "V" and then a different pattern below it. All I basically used from the PP kit was the calendar flipped over and the background stamps and sentiments.

Dove Truffle Treat Holder

I thought this was a pretty good way to spread out one bag of candy and give a little something to 15 people, either friends, co-workers, neighbors, service workers, just because etc. They are super easy and quick to make. I used the gorgeous Grapefruit Grove Foil (A free Sale-A-Bration product) and also some Black Foil along with various DSP. You can also put a nail polish inside rather than the truffle. Let me know if you try this and find something else to fit inside.

December 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative

 2019 Calendar with Stand

This months Paper Pumpkin is beautiful but I wanted to make a special gift for someone and I am keeping mine. I simply scanned and printed out the 12 months on Whisper White Card Stock for the 2019 year. This months Paper Pumpkin has 18 months of calendars be sure not to mix up January - June 2019 and 2020.

I made the box 2 inches deep because all the calendars months have embellishments on them and i also wanted to include the easel stand.

To make the box the same size but deeper than the one in this months Paper Pumpkin I used Thick Whisper White Card Stock. Box bottom measures 4-1/2"W X 5-3/4"L X 2" Deep. The lid is just a tad bigger so it fits easily.

All 12 months fit nicely on the gold easel stand.

Calendar Months

To make uniform in size all are backed with the coordinating color CS, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Gray Granite and Grapefruit Grove.

4" X 5-1/4"  Daffodil Delight CS 3 each.

4" X 5-1/4"  Pool Party CS 3 each.

4" X 5-1/4"  Gray Granite CS 3 each.

4" X 5-1/4"  Grapefruit Grove CS 3 each.

3" X  3" Whisper White CS 4 each. (Will cut down later to make 12- 1" x 3" strips)

Stamp each 3" X  3 " Whisper White using the stamps and ink spots from the Paper Pumpkin. I used my own daffodil delight too...just mix and match all the colors then cut them into 1" X  3" strips .

I sponged each calendar, added the stamped strip them decorated on a whim. I used butterflies, flowers, gems, ribbon etc.

Wonderful Romance Bundle

How appropriately named.... "Floral Romance Suite". All the products are incredible and make it so easy to coordinate, colors, embellishments, cardstock and the gorgeous Designer Series Paper. Thanks to Stampin' Up for making such amazingly beautiful products.

The Wonderful Romance Bundle is truly stunning with lovely cling stamps and diecuts! 

The Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper has 6 sheets of beautifully printed velum designs 3 each of 2 designs) and the other 6 sheets are very pretty double sided designs. Will make amazing Wedding and Anniversary Cards.

The ribbon is a 5/8" variegated Petal Pink and Whisper White super super soft.

The Frosted Flower embellishments are clear, petal pink and fresh fig.

Floral Romance Seals are gold with large adhesive glue  dots on the back, would be fun to put on an envelope you are hand delivering too.

Lace Dynamic Textured EF... Exquisite is all I can say!

On this last card for the Bride & Groom I used the "Well Said" Bundle. The stamp set Well Said has 52 cling stamps in 2 boxes with many different words and phrases and the dies have 14 words to die cut and flowers, symbols etc make up the other 12 for a total of 24. You can make many combinations of stamped and die cut words/phrases on your cards.
