Paper Pumpkin May 2019 Alternative

Hugs from Shelli

This months Paper Pumpkin Kit, "Hugs from Shelli" is such a beautiful kit. There are 4 different designs in the kit so you almost don't need alternative options they are so beautiful.  But, if you are like me, you still like full size cards to send out in the mail (The note cards in the kit are able to go through the mail).  I tend to hand deliver note card size or smaller cards with gifts (or in with the gift bags etc).  Here are a couple more ideas you can use with your own supplies too after your Paper Pumpkin kit is all used up.
I love the white embossed images on the pool party cardstock...I can see me making  some sets up with those in different colors. I did try the white craft ink but it was not as bright as the heat embossed but it worked too. I love making my own background paper so the stamps in this months Paper Pumpkin will be awesome for that. I stamped in petal pink and in pool party inks with the stamps on very vanilla cardstock. These stamps make lovely background images.

A Bouquet of Blooms Pop Up Card

This Pop up flower card was inspired by Rina K, she made this for her mom on Mother's Day. One of my downline posted that she just had to make a card like Rina's. So, I watched her video and then I just had to make a pop up card too. I am more of a subtle pastel lover but this card screamed Bright, Colorful and fun. So I made a fun vibrant card for a change. There are 7 bright and cheerful flowers popping out in the center so that when the recipient opens their card it would most definitely put a big happy smile on their face. Would make a fun and cheery "Get Well" card too.

Supplies:

Stamp Set:

Bouquet Blooms Bundle (Stamps and Dies), Stitched Shaped Dies
