ELEGANT HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAKE CARD

I thought this was a very elegant and pretty Birthday card to make for someone special so i thought I'd share with you how to make it too.

What you will need:
8 1/2" X 5 1/2" Calypso Coral Card Stock (CS)
4" X 5 1/4" Whisper White Card Stock (CS)
3 3/4" X 5" Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper(DSP)
Pear Pizzazz scrap or 3" X 2"
Silver Foil Scrap or 3 1/2" X 2
Whisper White Card Stock scrap or 1/2" X 3 1/2"
Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit - 1 white cake and 3 of the small velum flowers with silver embossing.
Cake Soiree Stamp Set- May your day be as wonderful as you Happy Birthday
Big Shot and Sweet Cake framelit Dies- Cake Plate, stand and 5 leaf die
Calypso Coral Inkpad
Dark Calypso Coral Stampin Blend

Stamp Block, Fast Fuse Tape Runner, Liquid Glue Pen, Washi Tape, Snips and Bone folder

Lets do all the prepping first. Fold your calypso coral card stock in half, crease using your Bone folder for a nice crisp fold. Take your DSP and put a small bit of fast fuse on the left and right of the backside about an inch from the top tie ribbon around and make a bow on the front right side. Using your Big Shot cut out the cake plate and stand on the silver foil and the leaves on the pear pizzazz

Now poke out the white cake embellishment from the kit and 3 vellum flowers. Using your dark calypso coral stampin blend color on the back side of vellum flowers inside the silver embossed lines. Put stamp on block and cover top part with washi tape leaving only the Happy Birthday part visible. Stamp in inkpad then REMOVE washi tape and stamp sentiment on whisper white scrap. Cut to desired length and then make into banner style by cutting about 1/4" up center on one end then snip from corners to center on both ends.

Now we are ready to assemble your card. Attach DSP with ribbon on it to the front of card using fast fuse . Glue silver stand near the bottom of card, glue silver plate over the stand. Glue the white/silver embossed cake on the silver plate die cut. In the center of cake embellishment add some liquid glue, add leaves and then a little more glue and add flowers on top of leaves. Angle banner Happy Birthday sentiment to cover center where you glued the leaves and flowers.
