Rooted in Nature #7 in Series

This is  # 7 in the series (last one) using the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set and Framelits. I am in love with this set! In this card I used the Tailored Tag punch on the 6" X  6" Wood Textures DSP Stack and layered them on Basic Black Cardstock, the card base is Very Vanilla of which I also have a strip on the front with Crumb Cake CS Beneath that. I used neutral colors and cut and embossed the leaves for texture. I used Crumb Cake for the tree trunk and sponged with Cajun Craze first and then Early Espresso for both the edge and the sentiment.

1.  8 1/2" X  5/1/2" Very Vanilla CS (score at 4 1/4")

2.  5 1/2"" X  4  1/4" Basic Black CS

3.  Wood Textures 6" X  6" DSP Stack (for punched shapes and envelope)

4.  Tailored Tag Punch

5.  3" X  3"  Very Vanilla CS

6.  5" X  1" Very Vanilla CS

7.  5" X  1 1/2" Crumb Cake CS (or a darker color if you like)

8.  Scraps of neutral CS

9. 20" Linen Thread

Big Shot

Liquid Glue and dimensionals

 a) You will need about 12 shapes punched with Tailored Tag Punch

 b) Stamp tree trunk growth rings in Sahara Sand, fussy cut then      sponge with Cajun Craze & Early Espresso Ink and add sentiment in Early Espresso too.

c) Cut and emboss about 10-12 leaves in neutral colors

d) Glue Tailored Tag shapes to Black CS then cut down to 

    5" X  3 3/4"

e) Adhere wood grain on black cs to card base.

f) Add strip of crumb cake across card and then add very vanilla on top.

g) Arrange leaves, add linen thread to back of trunk, add dimensionals and center on strip of vanilla.

h) Add a leaf to the inside (either embossed or stamped)

i)  Draw shape of envelope flap on Wood Textured DSP, fussy cut and adhere to have a matching envelope.
