Pretty Gingham Butterfles

Happy New Year everyone.

I hope everyone reading this has a very happy and healthy one. Well it's hard to believe 2019 is here...the years just seem to fly by so quickly anymore.

We had a busy week heading up to the New Year. We were babysitting for our "grandfurbaby"...  Grommit. He had surgery to repair a herniated disc just a few days before Christmas and my son and his wife were heading to Orlando as chaperones on our grandaughters high school chorus trip. We also had our youngest grandson Michael who is 10 and he brought his hamster (nibbles) along. Grommit was hard work, he had a cone on his head, stitches all down his back, was on 6 different medications, was crated so he wouldn't exert himself to much and cried for hours when they left him here! He sure came a long way in such a short time, he just absolutely fell head over heals in love with his Human Granddad and was attached at the hip with him. He was down to 1 medicine and  no longer wearing a cone. He was walking on all 4 legs ...well almost running on them (no longer dragging his rear along the floor to get somewhere). It was amazing to watch the improvements he was making in leaps and bounds (almost literally) everyday. I'd say the $5,000 surgery was a success! Well, enough about my busy week lets talk stamps ...

Now here's yet another butterfly card using the fabulous Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and Butterfly Duet punch that you can purchase as a bundle in the new Occasions Catalog starting on January 3, 2019 (or 2 more sleeps as my kids used to say when they were excited for something happening soon). I think this is going to overtake my favorite "Painted Harvest". I hope you like the pretty cards and enjoy the tutorial.
