Make Your Own Glimmer Spray

Make your own "Glimmer Spray" with what you think is an empty Clear Wink of Stella Brush!

I have been making my own Glimmer Spray for a long time now and I've never run out! Below you will find the instructions on how you can make yours and then re-purpose your brush as a painter. It's a win win situation! Let me show you how easy it is.
When you can't seem to squeeze another drop of glimmer from your brush that now seems dry. Don't despair believe me, there is still lots inside and we are going to use every last drop.

Supplies you will need....

Empty Clear Wink of Stella Brush
1-3/4 oz  Alcohol (I used 91% but the 70% is fine as well)
2 Ounce Spray Bottle
Small Bowl
1/8 oz Water
Tweezers
Paper Towels

1.  Fill 2 oz Spray Bottle with 1-3/4 OZ Alcohol and Water.
2.  Pull off the cap from Clear Wink of Stella and unscrew the top.
3.  Remove the tube using tweezers

4.  Put the tube into your Spray Bottle, pour whatever is left of the Wink of Stella plus the ball bearing. Add the cap and give it a shake.
5.  Take the cap back off and remove the tube with tweezers. Place in a bowl.
6.  Add alcohol or water to the Wink of Stella barrel (whatever you prefer...if you are using watercolor paper...water is fine).
7.  Snap the tube back in.
8.  Screw the brush part on and give the sides a squeeze where it says push. Wipe on a paper towel and put cap back on.

You will still have glitter in that for a while. Write "painter" with a permanent marker or add a piece of washi tape on the barrel of the Wink of Stella to remind you it's a painter now. Keep refilling it with alcohol or water when it runs dry.

Shake well before use. Spray a couple of bursts about 8" -10" from project.

When your spray bottle gets down halfway...refill with alcohol (Alcohol dries faster)

Like I said, I have never run out...just repeat the process when you have another empty Clear Wink of Stella.
Use your Clear Wink of Stella Brush on details like flowers, butterflies etc and use your Spray Bottle for whole card coverage...They look awesome!
