February 2019 Paper Pumpkin Alternate


I can't stop myself cutting up my Paper Pumpkin kit this month. Here is another idea but you will have to use some things from your own stash ...  I used the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder but if you don't have that, use a different one...or put some of the stamps from this months kit on a block together and make your own background like I show in the video. Use what you have available too. On this card I had a small piece of scrap Real Red Cardstock I used. I am not particularly fond of black and white stripes but chopped up into smaller pieces hmmmm... maybe i will use them all up. Check out yesterdays Blog post for more ideas.

Measurements and Supplies

From your Grown with Kindness Paper Pumpkin Kit...

1 striped card cut in half. 
Punch a 2-1/4" circle from white half.
Cut a 3/4" X  5-1/8" strip of black and white stripes
Cut a 2" X  3-3/4" striped portion, then angle cut how you want (don't forget to take off a tiny bit on each cut)
1 black card base
Gems, Stampin' Dimensionals

Other Supplies....
4" X  3-3/4" Whisper White Cardstock,
Scrap of Basic Black Cardstock for 2-1/4" Circle
3-5/8" X  2-1/4" Scrap Real Read Cardstock 
Embossing Folder (I used Dot to Dot and Swirls and Curls on the Berry Burst card below)
2-1/4" Circle Punch
Memento Black Stamp Pad
