I got my Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail and I just love it! Of course I made some alternates. Below is the actual Paper Pumpkin post on how to put together the cards in this months kit.
I made all different fronts by cutting into strips or squares or rectangle shapes. There was no measuring really just eyeball it.
The one picture above I measured where the center was then cut off a small sliver off. If you don't cut this little sliver off it does not look right, then I turned it sideways and decided where I wanted to cut again and sliced a small piece off again. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink in the upper right.
The video is below Paper Pumpkin's How to put your kit together.
Card #3
I basically repeat the cutting process where i want to cut ... i didn't measure just cut. Of course cut the bigger space for the sentiment. I used the black card base, put the pieces where i wanted them and using my Stamparatus I stamped the sentiment in Versamark then White embossing powder, heat set and added the enamel gems.
Card #4
This card i think was the favorite of all four...Made to look like a window pane mounted on fun foam then on basic black cardstock, I stamped the sentiment using the Fresh Fig Ink spot, I punched two tiny holes left and right of banner and tied black twine around card front. Stamped the little decorative stamp top left and bottom right
I hope you try different cuts, experiment using scrap paper first. Let me know what you think and how yours came out. I love to hear from you!
